Sad day to be a 49ers fan. Free agency was a bust and this really hurts to see some of these guys on other teams. I know it wasn’t realistic to keep everyone forever. Now, I know we also need to get younger. Hopefully we can get some steals in this draft. But, it hurts to know we could have 4 rings but we have none instead. This group of guys, This team has carried football for us niner fans for the last 5 years and we wish them good luck. I still remember that 2019 team. This is the goodbye tour blog post. I’m going to go over everyone we lost and focus on my favorite players aswell. Don’t be sad it’s over, be happy it happened.

Deebo Samuel
Now this one really hurts. Deebo was my favorite player on the team. He was the face for all of our socials. When 19 was on the field the other team was in trouble. He really brought soul to our team and I thought he was going to be a for lifer. I’m going to talk about his best season and my favorite moments. I also made a forum for him. Let us know your favorite Deebo moment.
2021 season
This season Deebo jumped on the NFL scene and surprised everyone. Everyone but us, when we drafted him I really didn’t know him but after the season closer I knew he was a dawg. Deebo showed out in the first couple weeks and was the first receiver to have 1000 yards that season. He wasn’t just the best receiver in the NFL, he was also one of the best running threats in the league. He was so good and versatile, teams had no idea how to plan for him. Deebo dominated the regular season was first team all-pro and almost received the OPOY. He was a hard crutch in the playoffs and was always making big time plays. Even though we came short but he was a top ten player that season and it was special to see. These were some of his stats.
Receptions: 77
Receiving Yards: 1,405
Receiving Touchdowns: 6
Rushing Yards: 365
Rushing Touchdowns: 8
Total Yards (Receiving + Rushing): 1,770
Total Touchdowns: 14
Favorite playoff moments
- 2021 NFC Divisional Round vs. Green Bay Packers: Deebos had 131 receiving yards and 3-yard rushing touchdown which was game changing. It made him the most impactful player on the field in a gritty win on that frozen tundra of Lambeau Field.
- 2019 NFC Championship vs. Green Bay Packers: His 22-yard rushing touchdown and physicality were key in helping the 49ers advance to Super Bowl LIV.
- 2021 NFC Wild Card vs. Dallas Cowboys: His 10-yard rushing touchdown helped give the 49ers a much needed lead in a tough road playoff game and that helped us own the Cowboys for the rest of time.

Dre Greenlaw
He was the perfect piece for our defense. Fred was the finesse cover backer while Dre was the booming energetic hitstick. He saves our butts so many different times it’s insane to think about. If he never got hurt we would have been champions once again. He deserves to be a number one out there so I’m happy for him but I will miss him forever. He will be getting a forum. Go pay respect to our guy.
2022 season
As a die-hard 49ers fan, I can confidently say that Dre Greenlaw’s 2022 season was one of the most exciting and impactful performances we’ve seen from a linebacker in a while. From the very first game against the lions to the final snap. Greenlaw proved time and time again that he is a force to be reckoned with. His tenacity, athleticism, and sheer will to win were on full display, making him one of the cornerstones of a defense that was simply suffocating. The entire year he was also actually healthy so he was able to show everyone what he was about. These were some of his stats.
Games Played: 11

Sacks: 1.0
Interceptions: 1

- 2022 NFC Wild Card vs. Seattle Seahawks: Greenlaw’s interception of Geno Smith helped the 49ers maintain control.
- 2023 NFC Wild Card vs. Seattle Seahawks: His sack and forced fumble were key in the 49ers’ dominant win.
- 2024 NFC Divisional vs. Green Bay Packers: Greenlaw got the game winning pick on defense and sent us to the NFC championship.

Kyle Juszczyk
I will never forgive this organization for releasing juice. He was the heart and soul of this team. Who cares if he was expensive, we needed him to retire as a niner, I needed him to retire as a niner. I can’t even remember what we were like before he got here. He’s the greatest Fb in 49ers history. Juice left his mark on the field and in our hearts. He will be getting a forum as he is the greatest 49er to wear 44. Go tell us what you will miss most about him, for me it’s the Kittle duo.
2023 season
Juszczyk’s 2023 season was another testament to his status as one of the best fullbacks in the NFL. Though his role doesn’t always come with the flashiest stats, his contributions were undeniably crucial to the success of the San Francisco 49ers’ offense. Juszczyk continued to be the Swiss Army knife of the 49ers’ attack, providing a perfect mix of blocking, receiving, and leadership. He was a big reason this 2023 team went to the super bowl. These were his stats.
Games Played: 17

Receiving Yards: 190
Touchdowns: 2
Rushing Attempts: 4

- 2019 NFC Championship vs. Green Bay Packers: His blocking was crucial in opening lanes for Raheem Mostert’s historic game.
- 2020 Super Bowl LIV vs. Kansas City Chiefs: Juszczyk’s 15-yard touchdown reception was a key moment in a tightly contested game.
- 2021 NFC Wild Card vs. Dallas Cowboys: His key 1-yard reception helped convert a critical 3rd-and-1 and extended a drive.
- 2023 NFC Wild Card vs. Seattle Seahawks: His 3 receptions for 32 yards were crucial in moving the chains and helping sustain drives.
These are some of my favorite players ever. I will miss them so much and I hope they do well. There are other players like Hufanga and Charvarious Ward that deserve recognition; they just weren’t here for as long as the rest of these guys. To this team I say, so long partner. Let us know who your favorite out of all the guys we lost in the Forum.
