Top 10 players for the 49ers 11th pick

As a 49ers fan, it’s been an exciting few years. With a strong core already in place, the 2025 NFL Draft offers a chance to reload and address a few key needs. Whether it’s future starters or depth pieces that develop into major contributors, these 10 players could be excellent fits for San Francisco’s system, culture, and long-term strategy. Be sure to check out our mock draft on our instagram. Also let us know if we miss anyone at the end.

1. Mike Green – EDGE, Marshall

Mike Green might not be from a Power Five school, but his production and burst off the edge are hard to ignore. He plays with intensity, uses his hands well, and could develop into a rotational pass rusher early on. The 49ers love building their defense from the line out, and Green fits that mold. The best edge in the draft is projected to fall to us.

2. Will Johnson – CB, Michigan

Will Johnson brings size, technique, and patience to the cornerback position. He’s been a standout at Michigan, showing the ability to match up with top receivers in both man and zone schemes. With the 49ers often looking for consistency and playmaking in the secondary, Johnson could be a long-term answer at corner. He looks like the next PS2 and he should be there and in all honesty he is my favorite pick.

3. Kelvin Banks Jr. – OT, Texas

Trent Williams is still elite, but it’s smart to plan for the future at left tackle. Kelvin Banks Jr. has looked like an NFL-ready pass protector since his freshman year. He has the footwork and physical traits to eventually take over the blind side—and perhaps contribute on the right side in the short term. Banks is the most likely tackle at this point in the draft and would be a blessing to get.

4. Armand Membou – OL, Missouri

Membou is one of the more versatile offensive linemen in this class. He’s played both guard and tackle and brings a physical presence to the run game. For a 49ers team that values flexibility and depth in the trenches, Membou would make a lot of sense. We hope he will fall but most likely will get taken before 11.

5. Ashton Jeanty – RB, Boise State

Jeanty is a compact, powerful back with great balance and burst. He’s also shown the ability to catch out of the backfield; something that’s crucial in Kyle Shanahan’s offense. With Christian McCaffrey logging a lot of touches, a player like Jeanty could extend the lifespan of the run game. As doubtful as we are about drafting a running back, this guy is a sure set in stone hall of famer. With our offense if he falls it would be a pick we would want to consider.

6. Jahdae Barron – DB, Texas

Barron is a smart, instinctive defensive back who can play multiple roles—slot corner, safety, and even some boundary work. The 49ers could use a guy with his range and tackling ability, especially as they continue to evolve their secondary and deal with injuries throughout the season. If Johnson isn’t there he is the ideal corner after.

7. Mason Graham – DT, Michigan

Mason Graham is explosive off the snap and consistently disruptive in the backfield. He has the kind of quickness and motor that would complement what the 49ers already have on the interior. Graham could be a strong rotational piece with starter upside. He will be at the 11th pick but we will most likely want to trade down.

8. Kenneth Grant – DT, Michigan

A different kind of DT than Graham, Kenneth Grant brings serious size (6’3″, 340 lbs) and surprisingly good movement skills. He can anchor against double teams and still push the pocket. If the 49ers want to beef up the middle and control the run game, Grant would be a smart investment.

9. Tetairoa McMillan – WR, Arizona

At 6 ‘5”, McMillan offers size and catch radius that could be really valuable in the red zone and on contested catches. He’s not just a big body, he’s a technician with great hands. If Brandon Aiyuk decides to eventually move on, McMillan could slide into a key role. He’s by far the best Wr in the draft and could fall to this spot.

10. Will Campbell – OT, LSU

Let’s talk about the big man from Baton Rouge. Will Campbell has been starting since day one at LSU, and he plays with a mean streak you love to see in a left tackle. At 6’6″ and 320+ pounds, he’s got ideal size, but what really makes him stand out is his anchor in pass protection and footwork against speed rushers. With Trent Williams approaching the twilight of his career, Campbell could be the perfect heir to the blind side. He’s got the mentality and skill set to develop into an All-Pro under the right coaching. Not to mention he hasn’t let up a sack in 2 years. He is easily the best lineman in the draft. I just don’t think he will be here.

Why These Picks Make Sense for the 49ers

What ties these players together? Versatility, football IQ, and the physical traits to thrive in San Francisco’s system. Whether it’s shoring up the trenches, adding firepower to the offense, or continuing to invest in a tough, fast defense, these prospects bring what the 49ers value most. Most importantly we really need these positions. We lost so many guys in free agency and have a lot to fill. While keeping value for the position and pick. These are the ten guys that we feel like do all of these things. Who do you feel are those guys?
